The ESPN College GameDay crew is headed to South Bend Saturday to showcase a clash of Top 20 teams.

Notre Dame, which moved to No. 7 in today’s latest AP poll, hosts No. 17 Stanford at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

The Irish improved to 5-0 Saturday night with a 41-3 dismantling of Miami at Solder Field in Chicago. Stanford upped its season mark to 4-1 by outscoring Arizona 54-48 in overtime. Stanford has won three in a row versus the Irish, including a 28-14 victory last year.

This will be the eighth time GameDay has visited the ND campus with the last coming on Oct. 15, 2005 when USC edged the Irish 34-31. Notre Dame is 3-4 all-time when GameDay comes to South Bend.

The GameDay show airs live at 9 a.m. Saturday on ESPNU and at 10 a.m. on ESPN.
