HARTFORD CITY — The run has come to an end for the Whitko girls soccer team. The defending Blackford Girls Soccer Sectional champions were knocked out of the 2012 tournament by Oak Hill, 2-1, in the semi-finals Thursday night.

Cagney Craig scored Whitko’s lone goal in the first half, assisted by Syndey Sims. Jordan Hall made 13 saves in net for the Lady Wildcats, which conclude its second season as an IHSAA member 5-7-2.

Oak Hill (13-4-1) will take on Peru in the Blackford Sectional final Saturday night.
