Sydney Sims got Whitko going with a goal, her fourth of the season, but Columbia City answered with a fury to claim a 3-1 win Wednesday night in girls soccer at Whitko.

Drawing City even was Haley Boner, who scored off an assist from Hannah Wappes to open the second half bulge. Shila Tolliver then scored the game-winner and an insurance goal to move the Eagles to 3-11-2 on the season. The loss sends Whitko to a 4-5-2 mark.

The Lady Wildcats will get back at it tomorrow in hosting Norwell to conclude the regular season, then prepare for its opening round game of the Blackford Sectional next Monday against Mississinewa.
