Robert Hudson has turned the side of a building in Mentone into a work of art and, upon seeing the colorful scene, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that Hudson actually is an accomplished artist.

Reader Steve Rogers alerted StaceyPageOnline.com to the developing story and even went out of his way to do an impromptu interview with Hudson, who says he was commissioned by the Mentone Chamber of Commerce to paint the elaborate scene.

Specializing in original Western art and museum quality limited editions, Hudson has taken his canvas to new heights and new elements with the life-sized painting of longhorn steer, the one he poses with he fondly calls Dusty.

The Papers will be bringing us a more in-depth feature on Hudson and his project next week. Stay tuned….
