Police in Elkhart County are hoping the public can help identify this man who robbed a Mutual Bank branch in Elkhart on Monday. The suspect’s photo was captured on surveillance video.
Authorities in Elkhart County are hoping the public can help in identifying a man who robbed a Mutual Bank branch in Elkhart Monday afternoon.

At approximately 2:50 p.m. Sept. 24, a white male – believed to be in his early to mid-40s with brown hair and a receding hairline, blue eyes and a goatee – walked into the Mutual Bank at 25990 CR 6, Elkhart, handed the teller a note and displayed a handgun. At this time it is not known how much money the robber got away with.

The suspect was wearing blue jeans and a gray hooded sweatshirt and had a tattoo on his neck. He was last seen headed south on Johnson Street.
