Warsaw Girls Shut Out Wawasee

WARSAW – The Lady Tigers hosted the Wawasee Lady Warriors today and easily overtook them. Warsaw won 5-0.The Lady Tigers couldn’t manage to score in the second half, but were OK having scored the five goals in the first half.

Very early in the game, less than two minutes in fact, Warsaw was on the board as Emily Gauger started the scoring spree. Just forty seconds later, senior Meredith Hollar scored her first goal of the game.

Emily Tandy added to the shutout eight minutes into the game, and then just fifty three seconds later the score became 4-0 as Gabby Monroy became the fourth Tiger to score.

Hollar earned career goal number 59 right before the thirty two minute mark, scoring the last goal of the day. Warsaw out shot Wawasee twenty to one.

Warsaw is now 9-3-2 with its last regular season game on Thursday against Northridge.
