The Kosciusko County Women’s Connection is an organization with a mission: to bring together local women of all ages to make new friends and learn something new at the KCWC Coffee Café Connection.

The organization meets the first Thursday of the month at The Hub, 1201 College Ave., Winona Lake, from 9:30 am to 10:45 am. The next meeting will be on Thursday, Oct. 4, and two speakers will be giving presentations.

The first presentation will be “Preparing for the Holidays” with decorator Sandy Barrett giving ideas for making the holidays even more exciting and enjoyable.

Also speaking will be former teacher and professional counselor Marti Glade on “Surprises in Life!” While listening to the speakers you may also enjoy a light breakfast of muffins, fruit and coffee or tea for a small fee.
