Bremen Blanks Triton
BOURBON – One score was all Bremen needed to post a victory Friday night over host Triton in a Northern State Conference football game.
The Lions got a touchdown pass from Kai Slough to Ethan Pike in the second quarter to notch a 7-0 victory over the host Trojans.
Bremen, which improves to 2-2 overall and 1-1 in league play, out gained Triton 281-102 in the win. Eric Knepper led the Lions with 24 rushes for 143 yards.
Cody Shively rushed for 60 yards on 13 carries to lead the Triton offense. Quarterback Bryson Mosier was 6-13 for just 17 yards with two interceptions. Mosier did rush for 32 yards on 11 carries.
Charlie Steinman had a pair of interceptions to lead the Triton defense.
Triton drops to 0-4 overall and 0-2 in NSC play.
Triton plays at Glenn next Friday night.
