The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department responded Saturday to a call for service at 30969 Riverbend Circle Apt. 1 in Elkhart County.

A 2-month-old male child, Elia-Juwon Baker, was transported to the hospital and was later determined to be deceased. An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.

The investigation is ongoing between the Elkhart County Coroner’s Office, the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department and the Department of Child Services. As more information becomes available it will be released.
