Culver Academy’s top two – Samantha Seibel and McKenzie Toth – played just well enough to carry the Academy to a win over Wawasee , 192-200, at Mystic Hills.

Toth fired a 41 to lead the field and Seibel added a 43, while Maureen Reed and Makenna Morsches both turned in 54s. Wawasee had a 47 from Courtney McDaniel to lead its scoring – the first time in her career McDaniel has had top billing – while the Lady Warriors kept a 50 from Elizabeth Jackson, 51 from Mikala Mawhorter and 52 from Kylee Rostochak.

“We hit the ball well tonight,” said Wawasee head coach Steve Coverstone following the match. “(Mystic Hills) is a Pete Dye designed course and our inexperience and youth showed up around the greens.”
