Clifford B. Snyder, 82, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 3:02 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012, in Mason Health Care and Rehabilitation.

He was born June 14, 1930, in Johnstown, Pa. He was formerly of Fort Wayne, Ind. In Huntington, Ind., in 1984, he was united in marriage to Pauline Branning who preceded him on Aug. 17, 2012.

He was retired and formerly owned Snyder Trucking of Las Vegas, Nev. He was a member of Pierceton American Legion Post #258. He served in the United States Navy from 1947 to 1950 as Seaman First Class Marine Firefighter aboard the USS Saipan.

He is survived by seven step-daughters, four step-sons, 23 step grandchildren and 45 step-great-grandchildren.

McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements. Private services will be held. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery Pierceton, Ind.
