A strong start in each set and a strong serving performance carried the Lakeland Christian Academy volleyball team to a 3-0 win at Argos Friday night.

The Cougars served up 14 aces in posting a 25-18, 25-23, 25-19 win.

Sophomore setter Paige Price led LCA with seven aces, three kills and nine assists. Senior Frani Gerst had nine kills and three aces for the winners.

LCA won the JV match by a 2-0 count.

The Cougars (3-2) host Culver Academy Tuesday in Winona Lake. Action begins with the JV match at 6 p.m.
