Banks Celebrate 50th Anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph E. Banks III, 1201 Edgewood Dr., Warsaw, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a vow renewal ceremony Sept. 1.

Joseph and Constance were married Sept. 1, 1962, at the Shiloh Baptist Church of Philadelphia, Pa., with Pastor William Powell Jr. officiating.

They are the parents of three children: Joseph IV, now deceased (spouse Joann), Warsaw; Kenneth (spouse Lynn), Katy, TX; and Reesa (spouse Timothy), Thompsonville, IL. They have 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Joseph now runs a tutoring ministry in Fort Wayne. He retired as a purchasing agent from Zimmer Inc. and as a master sergeant from the Air Force. Constance is a full-time homemaker. They are members of Calvary Baptist Church, Oswego. There, Joseph is the Sunday school superintendent.

They enjoy traveling and spending time with their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
