The Warsaw Community High School girls golf team began the dual match portion of its 2012 schedule Monday with a dominating win over Columbia City.

Juniors Nikki LaLonde and Elizabeth Meadows tied for medalist honors as each shot a 44 as the No. 12 Tigers posted a 184-224 win at the Stonehenge Golf Club.

Sophomore Alexis Manwaring carded a 47 on the par 35 layout at Warsaw’s home course. Seniors Morgan Sands and Ashley Murrell each shot a 49 for coach Chris LaLonde’s team.

Jackie Leeuw paced Columbia City with a 45.

Warsaw (1-0) returns to early-season tourney play Thursday in the Fremont Invitational. The tourney, the third of the season for the Tigers, will be contested at the Lake James Golf Club in Angola.
