Milford Police investigated the following accident and incidents and made the following arrests:
Accidents

  • Thursday, 1:30 p.m. SR 15 and Emeline. Driver: Darrin Martin, 18, CR 46, Nappanee. Martin was operating a tractor hauling a trailer full of silage when the trailer apparently raised hitting the traffic light. The traffic light broke and several hundred pounds of silage spilled on the highway. Damages up to $5,000
  • Wednesday, Aug. 1, 9:25 p.m. CR 1100N and SR 15. Driver: James Muir, 32, West CR 1100N, Milford. Vehicle struck deer. Damages up to $2,500

Incidents

  • Friday, 1:09 p.m. David Ackridge, South James Street, Milford, reported a wallet and backpack stolen.
  • Wednesday, Aug. 1, 6:50 p.m. Tim Craig, Emeline Street, Milford, reported his vehicle was broken into with change and CD’s taken.
  • Wednesday, Aug. 1, 6:20 p.m. A resident on Alexis Drive, Milford, reported a vehicle entered with CDs taken.
  • Wednesday, Aug. 1, 3:43 p.m. Erin Berkeypile, West Catherine Street, Milford, reported vehicles entered with items including change taken from the vehicles.
