Center Street near Boggs Industrial Park flooded for approximately 2 hours after the storm. On East Market Street, a tree fell across the road narrowly missing a woman who was in a vehicle. A large tree was also downed near Chapman Lake blocking traffic, and a home near North Webster was believed to have been struck by lightning. But the worst hit east of Kosciusko County.
The National Weather Service issued tornado warnings for Allen Counties and other extreme western counties in Ohio, but there have been no reports of any tornadoes.

(Photo provided by Justin Hollar)More than 13,000 houses and business were without power in southwestern Michigan and northern Indiana. Indiana Michigan Power reported that an estimated 3,000 customers in Elkhart, LaPorte and St. Joseph counties were affected. Also, 300 customers in Allen and Adams counties and 300 customers in Blackford, Delaware, Grant and Randolph counties were included in the outages.
