Graffiti was found spray painted on three buildings of a Warsaw business Thursday morning and Warsaw Police Department’s gang investigator is working the case.

Carl Weaver of Warsaw Engineering and Fabricating Inc., located at 2780 E. Durbin St., reported finding the graffiti early Thursday.

According to WPD Public Information Officer Lt. Kip Shuter, black paint was used to paint the words “Latin Kings” and “Mi Raza,” meaning “my race” and other words in Spanish. There was also an expletive, an apparent name and a quote painted on the south exterior walls of three buildings and on the deck of a flatbed trailer.

Gang investor Mike Cox went to the scene and took photos of the graffiti. Shuter says it is being investigated.
