Brad Lee Niles Jr.
Kosciusko County Prosecutor Dan Hampton says he will file a warrant for Brad Lee Niles Jr., 25, who failed to appear for his sentencing.

Niles, of North Webster, was to appear in Kosciusko Circuit Court before Judge Rex Reed at 10 a.m. today to be sentenced for two counts of felony forgery, two counts of felony fraud and one count of being a habitual offender. On June 21, Niles pleaded guilty to all charges.

In Indiana, Niles‘ crimes could mean up to 12 years in prison and fines of up to $40,000 in fines. Being a habitual offender carries an additional sentence of no less than four years in prison for each felony charge.

Niles was arrested by Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department in March on a warrant blitz. His last arrest came in Elkhart County in March when he was a passenger in a vehicle stopped for a traffic infraction. Niles was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug precursors.
