The Annual Chamber Golf Outing has been a traditional summer activity and fundraiser for the Warsaw Kosciusko County Chamber of Commerce for many years. It’s a time for community leaders to network and have a good time together over a game of golf. This year the outing was held at Tippecanoe Lake Country Club on July 25th.

There is another tradition that has emerged from the Annual Chamber Golf Outing. For the last three years, the Chamber has made a donation to Combined Community Service for its Tools for Schools program from money collected at the golf outing. Being an avid golfer, Chamber president Mark Dobson collected a voluntary donation to hit a ball for a player in lieu of their shot to possibly get a better score on the 18th hole. This year, Golf Pro Matt Funkhouser also hit a shot on the 9th hole for a donation. With these two special activities they collected a total of $1,300 for the Tools for Schools program.
