Pike Lake Beach in Warsaw has not been closed at all this summer due to E. coli levels. Bob Weaver of the Kosciusko County Heath Department credits a lack of rainfall for keeping the waters clean.
The following results are from water samples taken from each public beach in Kosciusko County. Each reading represents the most probable number of E. coli colonies per sample. Two samples are taken at each public beach. In order for a beach to be closed, both readings must exceed 235 colonies.

These samples are taken each Monday by the Kosciusko County Health Department.
