The Lake Max Triathlon is set for Aug. 11 starting at 8 a.m. in Culver.

The event starts and finishes on the Culver Academies campus and includes a 400-meter swim, a 10-mile bike event and a 5,000-meter run.  Competitors can enter as individuals or as teams. Cost is $65 per individual or $125 for a 3-man team through Aug. 1.

The event is sponsored by Pro-Form of South Bend. There will be age group awards in both men’s and women’s divisions and lunch will be served to competitors after the event.
