Soldier Field in Chicago will become home to the Notre Dame hockey team.

At least for one day next February.

It was officially announced today (July 11) that the home of the Chicago Bears will play host to the Hockey City Classic.

The collegiate doubleheader is slated for Feb. 17. Notre Dame will face Miami (Ohio) and Wisconsin will play Minnesota in the double dip.  Game times for the event are still to be determined.
