This year’s Kosciusko County 4-H King and Queen, along with the Prince and Princess, were announced last night at the public fashion revue at the Kosciusko County Purdue Extension office in Warsaw.

Madeleine Pacheco of Etna Green was named 4-H Queen, while Joshua Montel of Claypool was named 4-H King.

Pacheco is the daughter of Dan and Marna Pacheco. This is her ninth year in 4-H, where she is a member of the KCK9’s Dog Club.

Montel is the son of Brent and Sarah Montel. This is his 10th year in 4-H, where he is a member of the Monroe-Go-Getters and Junior Leaders 4-H Club.

Kristin Quick of Warsaw was named 4-H Princess for the second year in a row, and Jake Templin of Leesburg was named 4-H Prince.

Ten-year 4-H members were also honored with a long PowerPoint presentation featuring pictures and acknowledgments. Final year members were invited to receive an award for participation, but very few attended the event.

Friends of 4-H and 4-H scholarship recipients were also announced, as well all fashion revue winners.
