Kosciusko County Sentencings
- Hayden Brady Piersall, 22, 5518 N. 450 E., Leesburg, was sentenced on June 7 for one count of misdemeanor domestic battery. He was ordered incarcerated for one year, required to attend domestic violence education, and lost his right to possess firearms.
- Ivan Gonzalez, 30, 124.5 N. Jefferson St., Cromwell, was sentenced on June 7 for two counts felony intimidation and one count misdemeanor visiting a common nuisance. He was ordered incarcerated for a total of five years and four months.
- Jerry Lee Belcher, 21, 1836 La Vista Dr., Warsaw, was sentenced on June 8 for one count of misdemeanor operating a vehicle with a controlled substance in the body. He was ordered incarcerated for 60 days, had his license restricted for 180 days, and must pay a fine of $465.50.
- Vernal Eugene Kennard, 50, 11531 N. Syracuse-Webster Rd., Syracuse, was sentenced on June 8 for one count of misdemeanor operating a vehicle while intoxicated (OWI) with a blood alcohol level of 0.15 or greater. He was ordered incarcerated for 60 days, had his license suspended for 90 days, and must pay a fine of $465.50.
- Skyler Lee Dutton, 19, 5897 SW Channel Rd., Warsaw, was sentenced on June 8 for one count of misdemeanor conversion. He was ordered incarcerated for one year and must pay a fine of $265.00.
