One Dog At A Time Rescue, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Kosciusko County, is currently working in conjunction with Combined Community Services of Kosciusko County to provide dog and cat food to their clients.

Since the inception of the pet food bank in June 2011, the Pet Food Bank has provided over 4,300 pounds of pet food to needy families in our community. It has been said that were it not for the Pet Food Bank, these families would not be able to keep their beloved pets.

Sustaining the Pet Food Bank is just one of the goals of ODTR to help the families with pets in our community so they do not have to relinquish their animals to a shelter.

The Kosciusko County Community Foundation provides a Help Your Community web-portal that nonprofit organizations use to post current funding needs. The Pet Food Bank is currently seeking funds to replenish the pet food supplies. Any amount will help.

If you would rather supply food, please contact Suzanne Abel at 574-527-7085 to arrange for pickup.
