Venus transits the sun on June 5 and, weather permitting, Warsaw Community Public Library will host a free viewing.

This historical event won’t happen for another 125 years, so the WCPL is making the north parking lot available for the public to come out and watch it unfold. The program is sponsored by the Warsaw Astronomical Society from 6:10 p.m. to 8 pm. Telescopes with filtered lenses and special glasses for visitors to use will be available.
