Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department detectives solved the robbery that occurred at a Silver Lake gas station, as well as an auto theft from North Manchester that occurred the same night.
Timothy Wayne Hackworth, 23, and Andrew Scott Asbury, 19, North Manchester, were arrested at the Kosciusko County Jail Thursday and preliminarily charged with felony strong armed robbery.

According to detectives, Hackworth, Asbury, and Shepherd had stolen a Ford Mustang and a Chevy Camero from the Manchester Sales and Service car lot during the early hours of April 19. The men had driven both vehicles to the area near the Silver Lake McClure Oil gas station at 1:30 a.m. leaving one car and one suspect approximately a mile away.

The arrest of the three men was a concerted effort by the North Manchester Police Department, Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office, and the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department.
