SYRACUSE — The Wawasee boys basketball team suffered another tough loss Friday night.

Wawasee welcomed in rival Goshen for a conference finale and the RedHawks handed the Warriors a 68-57 loss despite it being a one-point game at the half.

Goshen was fueled by CJ Deweiler’s 22 points. Brady Bechtel added 18 for the visitors while Colton Potter contributed 10 of his own.

Wawasee was led offensively by Jairus Boyer’s 14-point effort. Trevon Coleman had a nice night with 11 points while Tyler Smith tallied 10 and Chase Rookstool scored eight.

Wawasee (2-15, 0-7) turns around to play Mishawaka Saturday night.

Goshen won the JV game 25-24. Wawasee’s JV is now 12-5 on the season.
